Since the DuraPro Magnetic Tether Cap doesn’t attach mechanically, wear is nearly eliminated.  With no plastic tabs/fingers to break off, plungers to freeze, rubber to crack, or delicate reed switches to fail, there is no degradation of performance regardless of how many times it’s used.

It detaches strongly and consistently regardless of the angle it is pulled from, weather conditions, or its age!

• Aircraft-grade anodized aluminum nut tightens easily and will not loosen or strip out like plastic nuts.
• Kevlar®-cored lanyard (orange coil) doesn’t absorb moisture like regular nylon-cored coils do. It flexes easier in cold weather, and retains its memory better in extreme conditions. Engineered with just the right amount of stretch, rebound, and strength, it’s less likely to get tangled up too.
• Includes a lightweight and strong custom aluminum & stainless steel carabiner clip.
